Closing In
A prayer heard by something up beyond
Requesting safety from the world that dawned
And to be cleansed from sins as if with Dawn
Was why the giant soapy bubbles spawned.
The humans screamed as each was closed within
And banged on walls that made Berlin’s seem thin
But since their hands and tongues could hardly sin
The pain did end and new life did begin.
Breathe It Out
The buds
Breathe in
You burn
Breathe out
Were bred
Breath in
To be
Breathe out
The best
Breathe out
Don’t break
Breathe out
Breath out
The beat
Breathe out
Breathe out
Breathe out
Don’t break
Breathe it
Out.

Rooted for Them
All life is bound to human’s ground
But gravity’s their lie
When blood goes still, big heads will fill
And fall towards endless sky.
There’s irony in tyranny
That stomps the giving earth
It’s all fulfilled when trees they killed
Are snapped by greedy girth.
Still Below
Above the waves we raise our beams
To boast our might against their drops
Above they wave and raise, its seems,
A toast that spites, condensed on top.

Slant Rhyme
These red lines
Like these read lines
Are slant rhymes
With orange
Lines
Slanting lines
Skylines
And
Dirt lines
Dirty lies and
Flirty skies stand.
Part 1/3: Not Just Bodies
A kin of man
(Akin to mannequins)
Is kind of mad
My mind I had (and limbs)
Not mine, but hands’
Of spineless stands (they limp)
I spin, they scan
My skin, I scan (like lips
that skim) the light
That dims.
Pt. 2/3: Not Just Freedom
Unitl
Some filth
Stained flirts
”Gained girth”
Lost for words
That loss of worth
A toss to the world
Was a form of rebirth
From a storm, into cold
Now lost in this earth
Exhausting stroll
Costing mirth
My soul’s
Dearth
Until
I’m still
So frost
Will form
And wane
The pain.
A girl’s
Death
